Make the vegan crema first

Make my vegan crema recipe first then save the almond pulp to make this almond cheese. 

Save The Almond Pulp

Save the almond pulp left from the vegan crema. Strain it to remove as much liquid as possible.

Vegan Cotija Ingredients

Almond pulp, salt, lime juice, neutral oil, nutritional yeast

Mix Ingredients

Mix until well combined. Taste and adjust anything you'd like.

Serve or Bake

Chill 30 min. and serve or bake for a crumblier queso cotija.

Crumblier Cotija

Bake at 380F for about 8 minutes or until you achieve your desired crumbly texture.
