Mexican ponche is a Christmas Must have! Make this fruity, sweet punch that you can spike or leave as is.

Ingredients

tejocotes, tamarind, apples, jamaica, guava, prunes, canela, cloves, piloncillo

Steps

Simmer the piloncillo, canela, spices and fruits and Jamaica

Steps

Add the Tamarind Pods and apples and simmer until soft. Taste before serving

 

Serve warm as is or spike with rum, brandy or even red wine. Salud!
