dried corn husks, hot water, kitchen sink or large container or large pot

Remove any dirt, debris, and corn silk they may have.

Thoroughly Rinse

Thoroughly rinse under warm or hot water.

Fill Sink

Fill the sink with enough hot water to make sure the husks have enough space to hydrated.

Leave to soak for at least 45 minutes, preferably 2 hours or until ready to use.

Drain

Once ready to use, drain the corn husks and remove as much of the excess water.
