Quick and easy mushroom gravy recipe made with cremini mushrooms and shiitake mushrooms.
Sauté the onion until soft and translucent. Then add the mushrooms and cook until soft.
Add the flour to the mushrooms and cook until golden. Stir often to prevent burning.
Add broth, soy sauce and stir. Little by little mix in the broth. Use a whisk to prevent lumps.
Simmer for about 20 minutes or until thickened. Remember that gravy thickens more as it sits.
