Mango Chamoy Margarita is a unique and refreshing twist on the classic margarita. This delicious and easy recipe combines the sweetness of the mango with tangy and spicy chamoy sauce, tart lime juice, and tequila for a refreshing and perfectly balanced Mexican drink fit for any fiesta!
Do The Glass Rim: Take 2 margarita glasses (or cocktail glasses) and first dip into a bowl with chamoy sauce. Then dip into the tajin powder. Set aside.
Blend: Place the orange juice, lime juice, tequila, agave, salt and frozen mango pieces into a blender. Blend until perfectly smooth– it’ll look like a mango sorbet.
Add Ice: Add the ice to the frozen mango mixture and blend until they’re broken down and you have a smooth and ice cold margarita.
Pour a drizzle of chamoy into the base of the glass. Pour some mango mixture over the chamoy going about halfway up the glass. Pour in a bit more chamoy then fill the glasses with remaining margarita mixture. Sprinkle some Tajin (or chile powder) over the margarita and serve with a tamarind straw if desired.
Serve immediately!
