116 ozDos Equis XXor other lager or choice, see article notes
1smalllime
1/2smalllime
1teaspoon salt
ice cubes
Instructions
The first step is to slice a lime in half and rub the edge with it. Make sure to go all the way around it a few times to coat it as best as possible.
Next rim the edge of the glass with salt, make sure it’s well coated. I used pink salt but regular salt is fine, or a mix of salt and chile powder can also be used.
Next squeeze one small lime into the glass. I use my Mexican lime squeezer to make it go quicker and get out every bit of juice as possible.
Now you gotta add a lot of ice cubes into the glass. I like to fill it almost all the way up, so that the glass can stay chilled longer. I also love to use square ice cubes to make it look pretty, but any shape will do.
The last step is to pour in the ice cold beer of your choice. (See the above section on which brands I like to use.) Depending on the size of beer and glass you use it may or may not all fit into the glass, but just serve the remaining beer on the side to pour as needed.
Now the best part, drink! ¡Salud!

Notes
Feel free to adjust the lime amount, I happen to LOVE a lot of lime juice in my chelada.**PLEASE NOTICE THAT THE CALORIE AMOUNTS WILL DEPEND HIGHLY ON THE BEER YOU USE, THE ABOVE ARE NOT ACCURATE**
