onion,carrots, celery, jalapeno, garlic, parsley, ground cumin, brown lentils, vegetable broth & salt
Saute the vegetables with a little salt to build a flavor base. Add the spices then the lentils
Add the broth & bay leaf, simmer until soft. Then add the tomatoes & simmer for 10 minutes.
Taste and add more salt if needed
