Happy Sunday amigos! I hope you are all having a great day.
Sorry for the absence, but I’ve been working a very special project that I will be sharing with you in the coming days. (So excited!) But in the mean I wanted to share some snapshots with you — which I haven’t done in a while, oops. Enjoy and I’ll be back in a few days with a new recipe.
Have a fantastic week ahead!

We don’t often have sweets for breakfast, but now and then my husband likes to run to the bakery for some fresh baked bread on Sundays. The one on the left is a crumbly sort of shortbread cookie, and the right side is a very buttery biscuit. So good with a big cup of coffee!

One of the many benefits of a Pescetarian diet is that it forces you to have tons of fresh veggies on hand at all times — otherwise it could end up in making bad meal choices. The green grocer I go to always ties up their spinach like this, so pretty.

These are shrimp tacos with different sauce toppings. If you are ever in Playa del Carmen make sure to eat at Aguachiles restaurant. Their food is amazing and always some many fresh seafood choices.

This is more of a typical breakfast at our house: fresh fruits, sometimes Greek yogurt, always a large cup of coffee, sometimes an fruit smoothie, and we also love eating eggs dishes, though we don’t eat them everyday. The little egg cups recipe you see here can be found on SpicieFoodie.com and you can add whatever vegetables you have on had.

This close-up of a marigold came from the bouquet of flowers I bought for Day of the Dead. Marigolds are so beautiful, aren’t they?

This is a cockscomb flower. The photo doesn’t do the colour in real life justice. I love how it looks like a brain. 🙂

These little white flowers were also part of my Day of the Dead bouquet, but I’m not sure what their name is. They smelled great.

I’ve been testing out recipes for tamales and shared this goofy photo on social media last week.
Fun pictures! Looking forward to learning all about your special project!
Thank you John! Hopefully I can share it very soon. 🙂
