Refried beans are one of the most popular Mexican foods, and they’re delicious so it’s no wonder why. When I tell my non-Mexican friends that I’m a food writer they always immediately request a recipe for my refried beans. But most recently Mexican Made Meatless reader Kathy C. contacted me requesting a pinto bean recipe without lard I wanted to give you all a visual guide of how I make my refried beans.
